Information velvyt collects
- Order and account information: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order history.
- Payment information: card payments are handled by the payment providers used at checkout. velvyt does not store full card numbers.
- Contact and messaging information: the phone number and consent record for text messages, and the content of emails or messages you send to care@velvyt.la.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring links, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies.
How velvyt uses your information
- To take payment, ship your order, and send order and delivery updates.
- To answer questions, handle claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items, and provide support.
- To send marketing email or text messages where you have asked to receive them.
- To measure how the site and advertising perform, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Who velvyt shares information with
velvyt shares information with the service providers that make the store work, including the ecommerce and hosting platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, email and text-message providers, and customer support tools. Each is permitted to use the information only to provide its service to velvyt.
velvyt also shares limited advertising and measurement data with Meta, Google, and Reddit so that campaigns can be measured and improved. Under some state privacy laws, this kind of sharing can count as a sale or as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn it off at any time using the choices below.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to enforce these terms, or in connection with a business transfer.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and similar identifiers to keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic and advertising. Your browser can block or delete cookies, though parts of the store may stop working correctly if you do.

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information velvyt collects and discloses, to request a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. velvyt will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Send requests to care@velvyt.la. You may use an authorized agent, and velvyt may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Retention and security
Information is kept for as long as needed to run the store, meet tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, then deleted or de-identified. velvyt uses reasonable safeguards to protect the information it holds, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The store is not directed at children under 16, and velvyt does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, email care@velvyt.la and it will be deleted.
International visitors
velvyt operates from Los Angeles, United States. If you order from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version takes effect when it is posted on velvyt.la.
